Kelli Shuttleworth

My family and I moved to Babcock Ranch in October 2018. As a child, I memorized the dog encyclopedia and loved impressing owners by correctly identifying their dog’s breed. After college, my husband Todd and I raised sheep and the best part of the farming experience was my interaction with the farm’s many working dogs. Training border collies and raising livestock guardian dogs was incredibly fulfilling. As a foster home for rescue dogs, our family has cared for more than thirty dogs! A passion and dedication for dogs has led me to enroll in multiple dog obedience, trick training and agility classes. My life experience gives me the skills to confidently care for your special furry friends, and I am thrilled to spend my days doing what I love!

Florida Native, Nash, lives in Alva with his dog Dell and a collection of horses, goats, chickens and ducks. A graduate of Riverdale High, Nash plans to pursue a Biology degree after this gap year from college. In his free time, Nash enjoys playing steel-string guitar and piano. He is a craftsman of woodworking and sells his creations in an Etsy store. Nash is a lifetime lover of animals and an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys hiking (especially with his pup, Dell), swimming, cycling and running. Nash is looking forward to making many more furry friends.

Colby was born and raised in Florida. She grew up having animals in the home and loves being around them. She is a full time wife and momma of three, who loves the pool and enjoys walks with her two little dachshund boys. Colby can’t wait to spend her days with new fur babies.

Shawn moved into Lake Timber fall of 2020 with her husband Matt and daughter, Stephanie. Shawn has an adorable little Cairn Terrier named Daisy, who she adopted in 2019. She loves going for golf cart rides and barking at birds in the back yard. Shawn is so happy to be a part of our team and looks forward to meeting many more furry friends in the ranch.

In the spring of 2020, Jennifer left the cold of Pennsylvania and made her way to Babcock Ranch. Her vast life experience with dogs includes growing up in a family who bred large breed and toy breed dogs and cats! Jennifer spent the last seven years as a dog groomer in PA, so has tons of experience handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. She currently lives with a Cavachon named Piper and two cats, making visits back to Pittsburgh to visit her two adult children when time allows. Jennifer is excited to get to meet many new pets in her position at Babcock Barks!

Brittany has been a Babcock resident for almost a year and is so happy to be part of the Babcock Barks team! Brittany and her husband moved to Punta Gorda from Tampa, FL after he was offered a deputy position with Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. They live in the Ranch with their 2.5 year old daughter and three little dogs and couldn’t be happy to have found this amazingc community!
